Foshay is 8-0-1 against Locke since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolverines will square off against the Saints at 2:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Foshay had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Stella High Charter Academy on Monday. The Wolverines never let the new shca logo get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Alyssa Garcia as she scored four goals for her team.

Something new happened on Monday as Garcia saw her first action of the season, playing 89 minutes against Stella High Charter Academy. Garcia made the most of the opportunity, scoring four goals and two steals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Locke made sure to put some goals up on the board against Jordan on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Locke in their matchups with Jordan: they've now won four in a row.

Locke's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Foshay, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Foshay was able to grind out a solid win over Locke in their previous meeting back in January, winning 3-1. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
