Softball Recap: Mounds Has No Trouble Against Okmulgee

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Gibson, Mounds was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Okmulgee Bulldogs with a sharp 10-3 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Golden Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Mounds' win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Okmulgee, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Mounds and Okmulgee will both be playing Dewar the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Dragons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Eagles will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
