Football Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

Center Hill managed to keep up with Lake Cormorant until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mustangs came up short against Lake Cormorant, falling 30-7. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to Lake Cormorant from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Center Hill and nudges their season record down to 3-4. As for Lake Cormorant, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Center Hill will challenge rival Olive Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lake Cormorant is set to face off against their familiar foe Saltillo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
