Levi Murphey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Janovic, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Wardlaw Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Augusta Prep Day on Thursday, falling 18-5.
