Baseball Recap: Jennings County Comes Up Short

Columbus East hit Jennings County with a nine-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Olympians, falling 13-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Olympians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Jennings County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Lane, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Jennings County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Columbus East, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
