Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Canyon Hills

Canyon Hills kept a clean sheet against Madison on Friday. They came out on top against the Madison Warhawks by a score of 2-0. Given the Rattlers 's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Warhawks are ranked 720th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Charlotte Zimmerman and Audrey Pappenfus scored both of Canyon Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

The victory was the third in a row for Canyon Hills, bringing their record for this year to 14-1-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Madison, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Canyon Hills will face off against Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madison, they will challenge Mira Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mira Mesa will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight.
