Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). They put the hurt on the Jurupa Hills Spartans with a sharp 10-1 win on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Kaitlyn Slavin as she scored four goals for her team.

King pushed their record up to 8-4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Jurupa Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

King is taking a road trip to square off against Norco at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Norco is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Jurupa Hills, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Kaiser at 4:00 p.m.
