It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grain Valley can now relate to. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindbergh Flyers on Thursday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Grain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 30-7. As for Lindbergh, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Grain Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against Rock Bridge on the 30th. Hopefully Lindbergh paid attention to the Eagles' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
