Softball Recap: Brush Finds Playoff Glory Versus Alameda

Brush had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Alameda Pirates on Saturday as they made off with a 16-1 victory. The win was nothing new for the Beetdiggers as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Haedynn Epple, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Jolie Tuck was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.

Brush always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brush's record now sits at 17-6. As for Alameda, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

As of now, neither Brush nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
