Colon had won three straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 8-5 to make it four. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Quincy Orioles 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Magi also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

As for Quincy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since May 2nd.

For Quincy's part, Kale Dirschell was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Christian Craven was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs.

Looking ahead, Colon will square off against Mendon at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Quincy, they will head out to face off against Jonesville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
