Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Point Loma). They put the hurt on the Clairemont Chieftains with a sharp 7-0 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Pointers brought their scoring average up to 3 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Clairemont from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Point Loma now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Clairemont, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
