Sonoraville is 8-2 against Ringgold since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Sonoraville Phoenix are taking a road trip to challenge the Ringgold Tigers at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Sonoraville will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on Tuesday. Everything went Sonoraville's way against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe as Sonoraville made off with a 9-1 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Meanwhile, Ringgold kept a clean sheet against Murray County on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

They hit Murray County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Santana Hagery, Xander Strawbridge, and Isaac Talley.

Sonoraville's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ringgold, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Sonoraville beat Ringgold 2-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sonoraville since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
