Baseball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Pataula Charter Academy lost against Pelham on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Hornets, falling 14-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jud Marshall put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pataula Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Pelham, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Pataula Charter Academy nor Pelham have any future games scheduled.
