Soccer Game Preview: Crawford County vs. Jones County

The Crawford County Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Jones County Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jones County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crawford County, who comes in off a win.

Crawford County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Rutland. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Jones County's offense. They lost 4-0 to Putnam County on Thursday. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Crawford County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jones County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Crawford County might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Jones County in their previous meeting back in March of 2021. Can Crawford County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
