Volleyball Recap: Hailey Weza and Cady Tinch Secure Win for Satellite + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Satellite walked away with it. They blew past the Weeki Wachee Hornets 3-0 on Wednesday.

One reason for the win was Satellite's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Satellite to victory were Cady Tinch and Hailey Weza. Tinch had 14 digs and three aces, while Weza had seven digs. Those three aces gave Tinch a new career-high.

Satellite is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Weeki Wachee, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Coming up, Satellite will take on Merritt Island at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Weeki Wachee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
