Baseball Recap: Augusta Christian Takes a Loss

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Augusta Christian nor Georgia School for Innovation & Classics made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Lions fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-3. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Augusta Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Duckworth, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double. Another was Jordan Sease, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Augusta Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-9.

As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Seminole County on the 23rd.
