Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Santa Fe Christian won the last time they faced Rock Academy, and Piper Lenihan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Santa Fe Christian Eagles enjoyed a cozy 59-41 victory over the Rock Academy Warriors on Friday thanks in part to Lenihan, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Santa Fe Christian's points.

Another player making a difference was Ava Robbins, who posted eight points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three).

Rock Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brooke Rodrigues, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points and seven rebounds. Thereza Horugavye was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds.
