Football Recap: Whitman/Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Whitman/Bloomfield came up short against the Vertus Warriors on Saturday and fell 28-20.

Whitman/Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Vertus, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Whitman/Bloomfield and Vertus will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Whitman/Bloomfield sees the field they'll take on Waterloo at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Vertus, their break will end when they face Edison at 7:00 p.m. on October 17.
