Softball Recap: Holbrook Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Holbrook's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Joseph City Wildcats on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Roadrunners' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Holbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tamryn Baldonado, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

The loss snapped Holbrook's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for Joseph City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2.

Holbrook wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-6 win against Williams on the 4th. As for Joseph City, they have also already played their next match, a 9-7 victory against Phoenix Christian on the 7th.
