Baseball Recap: Clever Takes a Loss

Clever suffered their biggest defeat since April 21st on Monday. They came up short against the Hollister Tigers, falling 14-2. The Blue Jays have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Clever saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Vaught-Green, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Clever's loss dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Hollister, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Clever nor Hollister have any future games scheduled.
