Volleyball Recap: Marvin Ridge's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marvin Ridge had won two straight games and Brooklyn Wilson did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Mavericks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Powdersville Patriots with plenty of help from Wilson, who had 13 digs and three aces. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Marvin Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Powdersville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Marvin Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Dorman on the 16th. As for Powdersville, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Easley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
