Softball Recap: Cushing Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cushing's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Blanchard Lions on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cushing's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Blanchard, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

Cushing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blanchard, they are taking a road trip to challenge Yukon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
