Football Recap: Granada Matadors vs. Berkeley Yellowjackets

Granada won the last time they faced Berkeley and Skyler Stuart did his part to make sure it happened again. The Matadors enjoyed a cozy 28-13 win over the Yellowjackets on Friday thanks in part to Stuart, who rushed for 181 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Granada's defense and their 5.5 sacks. Damien Miles was especially locked on to Berkeley's QB and sacked him twice.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was CALEB WRIGHT, who picked up 137 receiving yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of IDAN WADE-CURIEL, who threw for 205 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes.
