Baseball Game Preview: Rutland Hurricanes vs. Twiggs County Cobras

The Rutland Hurricanes are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Twiggs County Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rutland is headed out to face Twiggs County after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Rutland never let Twiggs County onto the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Kyle Howard, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendarious Gilbert, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Rutland took their win against Twiggs County in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rutland since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
