Soccer Recap: Los Altos Comes Up Short

Los Altos's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Los Gatos Wildcats by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Los Altos' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Los Gatos, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2-5.

Los Altos wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gunn on the 5th. Los Gatos has also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Palo Alto on the 5th.
