Sangre de Cristo posted their closest win since August 24, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Walsenburg Panthers 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbirds also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Their offense was headlined by Belle Bieriger and Emma Jimenez, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Desarey Ojeda and her ten assists.
