Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chapel Hill). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hart County Bulldogs 14-12. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Chapel Hill got a massive performance out of ZaKhiyah Thompson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those two stolen bases gave Thompson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hailey Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Chapel Hill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in five consecutive games.

Chapel Hill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Hart County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
