Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-2 to the Piedmont Highlanders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Castro Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Piedmont, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castro Valley will challenge Berkeley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Piedmont, they will take on Alameda at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
