Softball Game Preview: Northwest Lions vs. Jackson Fighting Indians

The Northwest Lions will face off against the Jackson Fighting Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Lafayette hit Northwest with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions came up short against the Lancers, falling 13-3. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Northwest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adeline Paszkiewicz, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Jackson waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 12-4 victory. The Fighting Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
