Football Game Preview: St. Michael's Horsemen vs. Raton Tigers + How To Watch

The St. Michael's Horsemen will take on the Raton Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Michael's will be strutting in after a win while Raton will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, St. Michael's took their matchup with ease, bagging a 47-8 victory over Eunice. Fans of the Horsemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Raton fell victim to Robertson and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 24-0. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Michael's will have to contain Cael Walton as he made an impact in Raton's last game. He rushed for 171 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. Walton showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards.

St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Raton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
