Soccer Recap: San Marino Takes a Loss

After flying high against Blair last Friday, San Marino came back down to earth. The San Marino Titans fell just short of the Temple City Rams by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in January.

Sofia Rodriguez and Kayla Giddings scored both of San Marino's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

San Marino has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Temple City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Marino will host South Pasadena at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Temple City, they will take on La Canada at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
