Baseball Recap: Crisp Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Byne Christian last Thursday, Crisp Academy came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 13-3 to the Grace Christian Academy Cougars on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat on April 8th.

Jacob Moore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Crisp Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Crisp Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Southwest Georgia Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
