Softball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Haralson County's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

While Haralson County put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Pepperell. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Dragons. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rebels' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Hope Davis was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maleya Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Haralson County has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pepperell, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Haralson County will square off against Bowdon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pepperell, they will challenge North Murray at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
