Softball Recap: Woodbury Central Comes Up Short

Woodbury Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the West Monona Spartans. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Woodbury Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Monona, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Woodbury Central will head out on the road to challenge Kingsley-Pierson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Monona has already played their next match (against Woodbine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
