Soccer Recap: Monroe Area Comes Up Short

Monroe Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the East Hall Vikings. Monroe Area were not able to make up for their defeat to East Hall from their previous meeting back in February of 2019.

Monroe Area's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for East Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe Area will face off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Hall, they will take on Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. Johnson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something East Hall surely won't give up without a fight.
