Christian's win ends three-game losing streak at home

The Christian Patriots came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Mira Mesa by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
Christian hit Mira Mesa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Kayla Cena,
Rebecca Wharton, and
Esther Gonzalez.
Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10-4. As for Mira Mesa, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-5.
Christian will be playing at home against Mission Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mira Mesa will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. Mira Mesa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
