Trinity Christian has gone a perfect 3-0 against Sandy Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lions will look to defend their home field against the Patriots at 5:30 p.m.

Spalding hit Trinity Christian with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions came up short against the Jaguars, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since August 19, 2024.

Anna Aycock made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sandy Creek). They were the clear victors by a 40-20 margin over Hampton on Monday. The Patriots have beaten the Hornets the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hornets has come to flipping the script.

Hosanna Antony was incredible, getting on base in all seven of her plate appearances with six runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Thompson, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with five runs, three RBI, and one double.

Sandy Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hampton only posted a batting average of .300.

Sandy Creek's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Trinity Christian's way against Sandy Creek when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Trinity Christian made off with a 26-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
