Softball Recap: Cedartown Has No Trouble Against Hiram

Cedartown came out on top against Hiram on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 10-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cedartown and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Hiram, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Cedartown will face off against Woodland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hiram, they will take on Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Catamounts at the right time seeing as the Catamounts are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
