The Monache Marauders had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against Sierra Pacific by a score of 57-48 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but Monache sure is getting used to it with their 15th in a row.

Monache was led to victory by Alisha Verdejo and Shelley Andrade. Verdejo scored 15 points along with eight assists and six steals, while Andrade almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Andrade is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyah Bartlett, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Monache has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 30-2 record this season. As for Sierra Pacific, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-12.

Monache's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tehachapi at 6:00 p.m. on February 23rd. Tehachapi will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something Monache surely won't give up without a fight. Sierra Pacific does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
