A Season-Best Performance from Cameron Newton Leads Walnut Grove over Seguin
Cameron Newton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Walnut Grove to the win on Friday. Newton rushed for 360 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Walnut Grove's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Newton and Walnut Grove will face off against Lubbock-Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Anna picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Edward Chumley. Colleyville Heritage had no answer to Chumley as he rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Chumley's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards.
Anna pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They and Wylie will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Ben Adams Delivers Electric Performance Vs Mansfield Timberview
Ben Adams's big game helped extend Lovejoy's winning streak to three on Friday. Adams did his part (and then some), rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards.
