North Cobb won the last time they faced North Cobb Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Mia Goldbach paced North Cobb's offense, picking up 13 kills. Goldbach were helped by Avery Williams and Ashley Hendershot, who contributed five assists each.

Despite the loss, North Cobb Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryan Chesser had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Chesser. Emma Strange also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

North Cobb's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for North Cobb Christian, they moved to 7-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

North Cobb has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Allatoona on the 28th. After both having extra time off, North Cobb Christian and Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
