Basketball Recap: Perkiomen School Takes a Loss

Perkiomen School lost against Germantown Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Perkiomen School Panthers took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Germantown Academy Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Patriots are ranked 33rd).

Perkiomen School has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Germantown Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perkiomen School will head out to take on Hun at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hun will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Perkiomen School surely won't give up without a fight. Germantown Academy has already played their next game (against Baldwin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
