Baseball Recap: Northridge Find Success

Northridge came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Marion Harding Presidents 8-6.

Northridge got a big performance out of Will Higgins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Higgins has posted since back in April of 2025. Noah Mason was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Northridge's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Marion Harding, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Northridge will be playing at home against River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games River Valley has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Marion Harding, they will take on Hamilton Township in a tournament on Saturday.
