Baseball Recap: Mill Creek Comes Up Short

Mill Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the North Paulding Wolfpack. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2019.

Mill Creek's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for North Paulding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mill Creek will face off against Collins Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for North Paulding, they will take on Cherokee at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
