San Pasqual Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bagdad recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Sultans at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

San Pasqual Valley's last matchup with Ash Fork could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Warriors were beaten by the Spartans 67-28. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-14.

Despite the defeat, San Pasqual Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taleah Valenzuela posted seven points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Lola Clements, who put up two points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Bagdad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-12 defeat at the hands of Salome.

Bagdad's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for San Pasqual Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
