East Jackson suffered their biggest defeat since February 18th on Friday. They lost 18-8 to the West Hall Spartans. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Drew Richardson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryse Patterson, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for West Hall, they moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, East Jackson will square off against Hebron Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hebron Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for West Hall, they will take on Jefferson at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Jefferson their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
