Volleyball Recap: Oaktree Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oaktree Academy lost against Catholic back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oaktree Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Catholic work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 25-18.

Oaktree Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oaktree Academy will venture away from home to square off against Suffolk Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Catholic, they will face off against Christchurch School at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
