After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Coweta, Heard County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over the Temple Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Heard County's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Temple, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Heard County will square off against Villa Rica at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Temple, they will challenge Pepperell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
