Baseball Recap: Morrow Comes Up Short

Morrow extended their losing streak to nine on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-19. They came up short against the Langston Hughes Panthers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-13 on Tuesday.

As for Langston Hughes, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-18. That 16-run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Langston Hughes' part, they let Harry Gibson and Avery Langford run wild. Gibson got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Langford went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Langford has posted since back in March. Malik Allen was another key player, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

As of now, neither Morrow nor Langston Hughes have any future games scheduled.
