Soccer Recap: Tri-City Christian Comes Up Short

If Tri-City Christian was feeling good fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Guajome Park Academy last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tri-City Christian Eagles fell just short of the Foothills Christian Knights by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in February of 2020.

Tri-City Christian's goal came courtesy of Gracie Lisak, who's now up to 22 this season.

Tri-City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Foothills Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian will head out to square off against Orange Glen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-City Christian is facing Orange Glen at the right time seeing as Orange Glen is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Foothills Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Escondido Charter at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Escondido Charter will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Foothills Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
